Website Standards Compliancy and Accessibility

Standards compliance is the name of the game in web design these days and this with good reason. Web developers are constantly learning new technologies to deliver solutions for the growing number of new internet capable devices, such as Mobile Phones, Handheld Devices, Pocket PC's, Screen Readers and so forth. Today we have many mainstream browsers like Firefox, Safari, Mozilla, Opera, Netscape, Camino, SeaMonkey... and different Computing Platforms like Windows, Macintosh, Unix... with different System Software like Linux, MacOSX, Windows XP, NT... as well as devices for the disabled people who also use the internet. With so much diversity to satisfy, web design and web development have become very complex issues and to make web sites compatible and accessible for this techno maze, some very strict rules must be followed — rules that govern how web content must be coded, so that web content is accessible by everybody and for everything, everywhere.

What have you got to say?
